MVP successful in Community Ownership Fund bid

As part of our work to maximise the impact of the investment we have received, part of the work of the Music Venue Properties team work is to identify other sources of funding and support that can help us to purchase venues across the UK and in recent months the focus of this work has involved working on a number of Community Ownership Fund bids.

The Community Ownership Fund was set up in 2022 to support communities to purchase local assets by offering up to 80%.

We are happy to say that after a lot of hard work and with support from Co-Operatives UK that we were successful in our bid for £249,999 to help support the purchase of one of our original Own Our Venues properties. Spurred on by this success the team have also submitted another application for another venue.
