Music Venue Properties to receive funding support from government's Arts Everywhere Fund

14 Apr 2026
We’re pleased to share that we have been successful in our bid to Arts Council England, securing £999,000 to support the future of our venues. This funding, delivered through the Creative Foundations Fund, is part of a £127.8 million national investment announced by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, supporting 130 cultural venues, museums and libraries across England.
It forms part of the government’s Arts Everywhere Fund, a major £1.5 billion commitment to protecting and strengthening cultural infrastructure across the country.
The funding will be delivered over the next three years and is dedicated to capital works across the five English venues we own, supporting us to carry out essential repairs, upgrades, and long-term improvements to the buildings themselves.
These venues are more than just places to see live music. They are vital cultural spaces at the heart of their communities, but like many, they face ongoing challenges maintaining and improving ageing buildings and this funding allows us to take further action to secure their future
From essential repairs to critical upgrades, it will help ensure these venues remain safe, sustainable, and fit for the future, supporting artists, audiences and communities for years to come. It also recognises the importance of grassroots cultural spaces within the wider national landscape, ensuring more people can access arts and culture where they live.
What happens next
Preparations and work will begin across some of our venues over the coming months, as we roll out improvements and continue investing in their long-term future and we are working woith operators to maximise improvements and minimise disruption to programmaing.
This isn’t just about maintaining buildings. It’s about strengthening the spaces that bring people together.
